About
I’m in my 8th year of teaching, though I’ve moved fairly recently from Michigan (where I taught for 6 years at Whitmore Lake High School) to Connecticut (at Fitch High School). As I’ve progressed as a teacher I’ve been drawn more and more towards the digital realm. My goal is to utilize technology in a way that improves student learning through more effective teaching. As such, the use of technology is simply one (often very effective) method of many to accomplish this.
Through this blog I hope to share my struggles, successes, and thoughts. I encourage your feedback; both positive and negative. One of the wonderful things about this format is the ability for readers to interject their own thoughts and ideas. I hope to learn much from those who stop by to read what I’ve written.
