For the last 32-ish months, this blog has been titled "Sustainably Digital." It was something I didn't spend much time coming up with. Basically, I was playing on the idea that if we want technology to become a regular part of the school environment, it needs to be implemented in a way that can be maintained easily by even those who aren't exactly tech savvy to start.
I can't really say the content of this blog has related too well to that original idea. Thus, I'm rechristening this space:
Re:thinking
Rethinking:
- science education
- lessons, projects, and activities
- school culture
- education policy
Re: (my) thinking:
- reflections, thoughts, and ideas
No promises the content of this place will improve with the (hopefully) more apt name.

I follow your posts religiously now but it took me a long time to subscribe. Why? The name. I thought it was another (of thousands) of "I pretend I'm a science blogger, but really I'm an edtecher and I'm going to just do 'top ten ways to use Wordle in your class' posts." No thanks. So I'd check back every once in a while and eventually I realized you really were a science blogger.
Well hopefully that'll clear it up a bit. I do hope to focus on the science teaching / SBG angle a bit more than I have in the past. Though I was just appointed as the local "instructional tech support" person...I better start working on my "IWBs are awesome & you should love them too" posts (ahem). 😉
